My Top 5: Sci-Fi Spaceships

I just saw the latest Star Trek movie and I’m still high from all the space goodness presented in J.J. Abram’s latest popcorn romp. And what would a spiffy space adventure be without a cool looking ship. Now, there have been many great vessels throughout the years, but these are My Top 5 Sci-Fi Spaceships.

5. The White Star (Babylon 5) This ship is probably the least iconic on my list, but fans of the show will know it well. It looks like a purple pterodactyl, so what’s not to like?

4. Discovery One (2001 : A Space Odyssey) So elegant, so futuristic looking. Too bad it’s got a killer computer running it.

2. Serenity (Firefly) She ain’t pretty, but she’s a beauty, if you get my drift.

P.S. Remember, these are my favorite ships. So don’t get flustered because I left off other notable spacecrafts, such as the Millenium Falcon.
